Dearest Enemy was the first book show by Rodgers and Hart, running for 286 performances from Fall 1925 to May 1926.The Vagabond King, starring Dennis King and Carolyn Thomson, opened in 1925 at the Casino Theatre, and ran for 511 performances. After the Marx Brothers' success in 1924 of 'I'll Say She Is' Irving Berlin wrote all the songs for them in 'The Cocoanuts' Which ran for 276 performances from December 1925 to August 1926. Robin Hood - Gems was originally issued acoustically in 1909 and re-recorded in 1926 in the electrically recorded version. Johnny Marvin as 'Honey Duke and His Uke' in 'Honeymoon Lane' continued using that pseudonym on records.
